Welcome to the official website of Michigan Periodontal Association (MPA). Founded over 50 years ago, our association is the nation’s oldest statewide periodontal association.
The mission of the Michigan Periodontal Association is to promote the practice of Periodontics in the State of Michigan by being an advocate for Michigan periodontal interests as well as providing our members with resources and education to strengthen our profession.
The MPA also represents the interests of Periodontists at the state level and is the point of contact between our specialty and other dental organizations in our state and with the American Academy of Periodontology. The MPA also provides up-to-date continuing education at our annual meeting on topics most vital to the health and welfare of our patients.
We strongly encourage you to join the Michigan Periodontal Association. The annual membership dues also cover the cost of our annual meeting that usually takes place in late January.
By working together, we can better promote our profession.
